DESCRIPTION:About the recovery group for Spanish speakers \nThis weekly group helps Spanish speakers needing alcohol and other substance abuse treatment services. The group is facilitated in Spanish. Participants receive information about the harmful effects of alcohol and substance use\, are introduced to the 12-step concept of recovery and support groups\, and develop positive coping skills for urges to drink or use substances. These groups are conducted using cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational enhancement perspectives and techniques. \n  \nEnrollment qualifications\nSpanish-speaking. \nParticipation requirements\nContact the group’s facilitator for participation requirements.
